I know there is PokerCharts - I'm a member - & a few other programs that help track your bankroll, but is there any software that you can track things like expenses, hotels, milage, and so-forth? Reason being, fuck the job market. Starting January 1 I'm filing myself as a professional poker player & need to find a way to track all my expenses & such. Would anything like Quicken - or whatever - work?
Click? Randers? Anyone? Thanks for your help. _________________ It could be raining pussy & I'd still get slapped by a dick. |

I used Quickbooks way back in the day of easy poker money online. That was just what the accountant I used suggested. You could probably to the same thing with a Excel spreadsheet or a ledger to keep a log.
Filing as a pro gambler though is really wack honestly, if I did it all over I would get some really lame super part-time job as a potential cover to fade alot of the tax bullshit. When you file straight up you are supposed to pay tax quarterly at a quite stiff rate.
The other thing is if at all possible when you play live grab tourney entry tickets/reciepts/sportsbook tickets, anything that shows you spent money on plying your trade as proof.
I know a guy who registered a LLC as well and was able to get a accountant to work the system in his favor come tax time. _________________ Nothing is obnoxious as other people's luck.
